Went cheering the NAVAD1000 participants. Including reigning champion over ultra distance cycling (check out her videos…), Willi Felix the man behind the event! And all the super strong riders… 6am start for 4, 5, 6… days non-stop unsupported across Switzerland 🇨🇭 with 30,000m D+ 😳 of course I joined the first 140km to get a feel for the monster. Absolutely stunning views, single tracks, tough climbing! I stopped after 8h while they are still out there 15h+ in (250k near Einsielden). ALPEN CHALLENGE LENZERHEIDE ✅ I’m glad it was shortened to 117km because no legs… amazing Albulapass, Switchbacks, long long long downhills and awesome weather. Great ride! Highly recommended! The regular 191km sounds very tempting for 2022. In the end 4:44 of good effort, 56th masters and 200th overall.
