Eliud Kipchoge – Full Training Log Leading Up To Marathon World Record Attempt
Basically a weekly microcycle with 12 sessions and 2 afternoon of rest.
Core workouts are MON, WED, FRI, SUN with morning MODERATE runs & afternoon EASY runs.
Then every week would include 1 Track session (TUE), 1 Long run Tempo (THU) and 1 Fartlek run (SAT).
Simple, brilliant, efficient.
The BMW BERLIN MARATHON is on 24th of Sept. so TAPERING is NOT so common among ELITES in Marathon running!
