Target was sub 2h40. Training did not go well at all between sprained ankles, achilles pain and knee problems. It came down to 6 weeks of semi-consistent training before race day, averaging 40 to 60km a week – not enough for me to break 2h40…
I gave it a try…Hold the pace until the 25k mark before the wheels came off!
Potential is there, if only I can manage injuries, especially this left Achilles.
